Just thought I would update everyone on Cousin Amillia!!! She has been coming to our house 2 times a week and does really well. Here is a picture of her yesterday!! She's becoming quite the eater......and is getting a little chubby!!! She will be 2 months old this next week. Dylan loves having her around!!!!

And course that means that Aunt Jenni has to come and pick her up, so Dylan thought he had to try her glasses on!!! I thought he looked too funny......

My Helper

Dylan has become quite the helper lately from cleaning, to doing the dishes to even helping with cousin Amillia. On this day he was helping Mommy clean!!

But, just like a typical man it doesn't last long and then they end up having to rest in their chair!!!

#8

Here is a picture of poor Dylan tonight!! He lost his tube in his ear on Christmas Eve, and I've just been waiting for him to get another ear infection and sure enough he did!! So it makes it #8 for ear infections!!! We hadn't had one since he got his tubes last July!!! So not much sleep last night and lots of sitting and rocking in the chair today! Hoping that the meds. kick in and he starts feeling better soon!!!!

Recipe

I've been in a little bit of a cooking slump lately, so I got on-line and found this recipe on
campbellkitchen.com It's called Hearty Chicken & Noodle Casserole. Everyone in our family really enjoy it, so I thought I would share.

First pre-heat oven to 400 and then boil 1/2 of a 12 ounce package of medium egg noodles and drain them

While cooking the noodles mix one can cream of mushroom soup, one bag of mixed vegetables, 1/2 cup of milk, 2 cups of cooked chicken, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese and 1/4 tsp. black pepper. Then mix with your drained noodles.

Cook for 25 minutes and then top with shredded cheddar cheese. It made more than enough
for our family, so I split it into to dishes and took one over to my in-laws for supper.

And then enjoy!!! Dylan really liked it, which sometimes he is hard to please!!!

I thought this picture was so cute!!!!

my mother really is!!!!! 5 days a week, 9 hours a day for 26 years now!!!
I really don't know who she does it!! I'm here about an hour and it
drives me crazy but she really loves "her" kids!!!

One Year Ago

It's just amazing how fast kids change in a year!! It seems like this picture was taken a long time ago but it's just been since Jan. 2008!!! My cousin Alicia Beaver takes pictures in Clay Center and does a great job, especially with kids!!!
In this picture Dylan weight 17 lbs. and was just starting to sit up!!! Now a year later he weights 29 lbs. and runs all over!!!

I Tried!!!

For Christmas I decided I was going to make a pinata and take it to the Ohlde side on Christmas
Eve and let all the younger kids(12 and under, which there are like 10-13 of them )!! My aunt always made one and took it out to Grandma Betty's for Christmas and it's one of my favorite Christmas memories!! So I decided I would try and make one. Of course Dylan loved it and wanted to carry it around. It turned out O.K. considering I'm not creative at all but I tried!!! The kids had a good time, so that's all that matters. I'm going to try and make another one next year also!

Farm Show Fun!!!

Here is a picture of Dylan enjoying the Farm Show!! We were there for 3 days!!! Dylan really
loved almost every moment of it. As you can see.....this is what he wanted to do 90% of time!! Sit/ride on equipment!! Thank goodness Grandpa & Grandma Ohlde came on Wednesday, so Dylan dragged them around the show also!!!
