Halloween Part-1

This morning we head south to go trick or treating with Grandma Walleta and her gang to the businesses downtown. It was a chilly, wet morning but the kids did really good.
Here are all 10 of them!!! Do you only count 9? There is one child under the blanket! Natalie was sleeping.

Here is the clan walking down the street. What a fun morning. I'm just glad I only have one child tomorrow night to take trick or treating!!!

Dylan and I were busy this week baking. We made a scary spider cookie cake!!!

And Dylan helped roll out sugar cookies and also cut them out!! So that's why all of our pumpkins aren't real uniform!!!

Past Halloween's

I think it's so much fun to look back at years past. So this week I gathered up some old Halloween pictures.
Here is Dylan's first year in 2007 trick or treating!!! He was a hotdog!!! So cute.

Last year didn't go so well. He hated his costume. I think it was super cute!! Our friend Brillion borrow it for this year.

Here is one of Shane with his sisters when he was 6, I think it said. And of course he was a football player!!!

Here I am with my brothers in 1986. I was 7, Dana was 4 and Jason 2!! Of course I was an angel!!! Mom made Dana and Jason's outfits. Dana's glowed in the dark...he thought he was pretty hot stuff.

This last one if of Shane and his roomates from college. They made their costumes out of trash cans. They spent many hours and lots of beer making these. The even won $500.00 at a contest at a local bar. They were so proud of these!!!

Welcome...........

to the thirty's Coach Ohlde/Shane/Daddy!!!!!!! Yep, his big day is here!! We are now back to being the same age!!!
Here he is with his sister Jolynn. I think it's around 1981, maybe???? So he would be a little over 2. The same age Dylan is now!!!

He is a 5th grader here!! Look at all that blond hair!!

Halloween Pre-view....

So Dylan HATES costumes. Halloween last year didn't go so great. So this year I just wasn't sure if anything would work. So I have a couple of ideas but saw this football outfit at a garage sale so I picked it up. This morning I thought we would try it out!!
He didn't want to put it on until I told him Jacob(Daddy's quarterback that Dylan LOVES) wears the samething!!! And Dylan says, Jacob wear it? And I said yep, and he put it right on!!!! I was shocked!!!

He had to show me all of his moves!!!


And he even could tackle in it!!!

So who knows if he will want to wear this next week but I thought it was cute. Daddy thought he could use a different helmet!!
He wore this costume for 2 hours and finally took it off because I said Jacob doesn't wear his football uniform to nap time!!!!:-)

Red Bush

We have a beautiful red bush in our yard. So this morning before we had to go run errands for Daddy and help Grandpa move around for harvest we got a picture by the pretty red bush. Aren't the fall colors so pretty!!!

Here is Dylan by the same bush last year. Both him and the bush have grown some!!!

But, today we didn't have time to sit!!! He wanted to show Mommy some of his football moves!!!

Where's my baby????

After church this morning I decided I would take a quick picture of Dylan since he was looking so cute and had on his new John Deere boots from Aunt Kate and Uncle Dana!!

I know this picture is really dark but I thought it was too good not to share. I just look at it and can't believe how big he is getting!!! And this week he even started counting to 10!!!! We are so impressed and proud!!!:-)

A good friend of mine is turning 46 today!! She is such a wonderful friend and mentor. I just love her and so glad she is in my life! She has a wonderful family as well and a cute hubby!!!
Here is a picture of her at the football game about a month ago. She always looks good!! I think she wakes up looking like this!!! Can you believe she is 4 years from 50!?!??!

Her 3rd child and I are already plotting for her 50th birthday because this is what she did to me last month on my 30th!!!

Yep, she was the one that hung the sign up at the ballpark!! So I owe her one now!!!

A Full House

Shane had the football team over to watch film tonight(all 15 boys) and Dylan and I went and got 7 pizzas for them and also made cookies this afternoon!!!

Very Random

Well, I tried to tie all these pictures together I wanted to share...but there's no way, so it's all going to be very random!!
I can now download pictures again because of this very special pregnant friend of mine!!! She found a cord for my camera and mailed it to me!!! She is just the best!! I'm so glad we're friends Steph!!!

Last night we had some company while eating our supper........2 deer!! The were closer than this but Dylan was yelling at them and they took off before I could get a good picture!!

Grandpa Ron got a new toy today!! This new tractor!! We had to go over and sit in it and try it out!! It even has a little sit for Dylan to sit in!! He was so excited!!

2 Months from today this Grandma turns the BIG 50!!! Mark your calendars!!! Don't worry, I'm sure I will remind you again!!!:-)

Baptism

This weekend we had baptism for our new little newphew. Here are my boys all dolled up and ready to go!!! Mommy ended up getting sick on Saturday and couldn't go. I was so disappointed!!

Since I didn't get to attend, I didn't get any picture either!!! I should have sent my camera with Shane......I wasn't thinking!!! Here is a picture of the Tristan though!!

I also made the baptism cake........but once again I didn't get a picture of that either!! Darn it!!!
