Shane always gives me a hard time about packing too much...so I checked the weather forecast and it said a High of 80 on Saturday and Sunday. Perfect....since we were going to be there less than 24 hours and only spending one night I would pack one bag...and shorts and long sleeves(since it would get cool in the evening at the game).
So.... on the way out we go through Salina and it's 93!!!! Wow, maybe we won't need our long sleeves/jackets after all..........but an hour later when we get to Uncle Shaun's town....it's 54 degrees, misting and cloudy!!!!!!!!!!
So after 2 trips to Walmart, I learned my lesson!!! I think I need to pack more!!!:-)
You just never know with this crazy weather!!!
Don't you just love this weather?! I swore after the temp drop on Sat. I was going to shut the air off for good, open windows and run only the fans till winter! BUT, after reading the forecast for today, the windows got shut, the air came back on and I can't wait to see the electric bill next month!!!

ReplyDeleteI've packed a million times and still over pack. It's better to have too much than not enough!!! Shane will thank you some day when it doesn't cost him any money and you have all you need. :)
