Which is worse????

A Daddy that has been running a temp. and throwing up for 2 days or.....

A little boy that's crazy wild during the day and throws up and is up for a few hours the past 2 nights???

Or a diabetic dog that I have to give 2 shots a day to her for the rest of her life?!?!?(It's Kaci, the one on the left that isn't feeling well)

This is what has been going on at our house this week!!! Shane is on the mend, back to work today and Dylan is O.K. during the day......lets just pray I don't get it!!

Hide & Seek

Dylan like to go and hide so tonight before bed he went and hide from Mommy and Daddy..........

he always picks some interesting spots to hide and tonight was no exception!!!

Browndale Farms

Yesterday morning Dylan and I went with Mom and her kids to Browndale Farms, west of CC!! We had such a great time!!!
Here is Kennedy going down the slide and Aunt Ann helping her!!

They had a lawnmower train, which Dylan LOVES!!

Dylan and I also went on a hayrack ride!! Dylan thought it was....O.K.

They have bales lined up and you can run/jump across them. I didn't think Dylan would be quite ready to do this, but he was and really enjoyed it!!

What a fun morning, we were so glad Grandma Walleta invited us along.

Feel The Burn...........

Oh, boy do I ever!!! I started doing this workout DVD a couple times a week, 3 weeks ago now and I still hurt the next day and the next!!!

I'm a big fan of the Biggest Loser and love Bob!!! But, man do I hurt!!

So Sad.......

Shane's team suffered their first lost of the season last night in a very close back and forth game. It was sad that they lost but more importantly we lost one of our best players, Tyler.

Here is a picture I took at the end of summer. Tyler is on the back row, third from the right. He only played a couple minutes in the first quarter and then broke his collarbone!!! We are so sad that we don't get to watch him play anymore(he is a senior and out for the year), he is a great player and makes some amazing catches. Plus, he's also our hired hand and a great kid!!!

Grandpa Ron went to Husker Harvest Days yesterday(a HUGE farm show, which is tons of fun) and brought us back a surprise.....

Friday night Shane's team had it's first home game!!! The rain held off until the final play of the game!!! And then it rained 2.25 inches!!!!!
I finally got a cord for my camera last night, but the pictures here aren't mine. Our friend and Washington County News editor Dan Thalman took these.

Shane had a crows-nest made for filming. Shane's Dad usually films but since he was in Colorado seeing his newest grandson, someone else had to film. I had volunteered but Shane had one of his injured players do it instead.

Once I got a look at it though, I was super glad I didn't have to climb the ladder and sit up there........little to high for this lady to climb!!!

Shane's oldest sister Jolynn finally had her baby(she was 5 days over-due)!!! She welcomed a little boy.......

Today is the day.........

And I'm happy to say I don't feel a year older!!!:-) HA, HA!!! Having a great day though. Dylan and I headed to town for the annual celebration this morning. I took some great picture of Dylan riding the 4-Wheeler "train" but I lost the cord to my camera, so no pictures yet of that!!! We lost our softball game at noon and are now getting ready for the 3:30 parade that we are in!!! Fun times!!!
My Mother insisted on me wearing this crown for a picture..........I think she seems to forget that her 50 BIRTHDAY IS 3 MONTHS FROM TODAY!!!!!!!



Someone put a BIG HUGE sign up at the ball park in town announcing my birthday!!! I think I know who did it though and she is in trouble and so are her 3 little helpers!!!!!!!!!:-)

Good-Bye Twenties.............

I am having a birthday over this 3 day weekend and started celebrating last night when we made supper and Shane parents and sister came over and brought this cake to remind me how old I'm going to be.

And then this morning I got a suprise when these 2 plants arrived from Shane & Dylan!!!

And my wonderful friend Kelli is doing a lovely count down for me on my facebook page. So nice of her...............:-)
Hard to believe I'm leaving my twenties.
Many good times and many hard times.
But, either way I guess I am going to be 30!!!
I can hardly even say it though........

Happy Birthday to one of our favorite people......Aunt Eunice!!!

This past weekend she was at our old college town visiting her daughter, and volunteered to watch Dylan ALL NIGHT LONG!!! So off Dylan went!!! He slept all night and also slept till 8:30(his longest EVER) the next morning!!! What an awsome aunt we have!!!
We love you and we will see you in a few weeks!!!
